This image makes me think of one of those words (like "smock" or "moist" that I hate but can't stop repeating: PUPATE. Pupate, poop-ate, pate-pyoo). How, dear Worm, do you recommend defeating one of these ear worms? You're responsible for it, anyway!
Keep on repeating the hated word and eventually you will become inured to its unpleasant sound. What's more, the once despised word might even become a mantra by which you transcend this troubled world and experience the peace of divine reality. In other words, don't try to defeat the ear worm but, rather, allow the ear worm to defeat you.
